Cameron Mackintosh LTD

In 1985 we were working as show engineers on the 1st Cameron Mackintosh production Les Miserables in the Barbican Theatre. When the show moved to The Palace Theatre we were involved in the installation of the show and were commissioned by Cameron Mackintosh to maintain the components on a weekly basis, our journey in the West End had begun.

In 2003 when the show moved to its current venue The Queens Theatre Stage Services London Ltd were appointed to manufacture the Barricades for Les Miserable, we still carry out the maintenance on the show to date.

Phantom of the Opera launched in 1986 in the West End we are the show engineers and today still carry out maintenance on all show components on a weekly basis.

witches of eastwick

This was an exciting time for Stage Services London Ltd. A new era of performer flying was born. The 3 witches flew up above the stage and then out across the audience…..it was a first. In unification with the designer our engineers manufactured and installed the winches which were operated by others to make this happen, whilst this show only stayed 18 months in the West End we installed it in to Melbourne, Australia and twice in Japan
